I think we can say that in the 90s, television gave children an acquaintance with such a genre as animated series. This of course does not mean that their children have not seen before. There were "Well, wait a minute!", And "Leopold the Cat." It was a wonderful "80 days around the world." And also “Rex”, “Mole”, “Lyolik and Bolek”, “Krzhemelik and Vakhmurka”, “Stepladder and Makaronka”. But they were shown in the 80s very rarely. But it was in the 90s that television began to show various cartoons regularly.
It all started if my memory serves me since January 1991, when the program "Walt Disney Presents" appeared on the First Program of the Central Television. It was in her that they showed us the first Disney serials for us "Duck Stories" and "Chip and Dale to the rescue." I do not know about you, but to me these two animated series still seem to be the best in this genre.
Later in the same program were also "Gummy Bears" and "Miracles on the Turns"
In 1993, the program moved to RTR under the name "Disney's Magical World", where she introduced young viewers to "Black Cloak" and "New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh", "The Little Mermaid" and "Aladdin"
But this, of course, the official acquaintance - the unofficial began in the era of video salons with "Tom and Jerry" and the same Disney cartoons about Mickey and Donald
But back on television. What other cartoons of those years were remembered?
"Casper and his friends" and "Real Ghostbusters", "Cat Felix" and "Maya Bee", "Ninja Turtles" and "Flintstones", "Scooby-Doo" and "Dungeon Dragons"
I remembered, of course, not all. Just if in the early 90s I still watched cartoons on TV, then from the middle and on I was no longer up to them. So add to the list what you remember.
