Why in the second "Elusive" killed Bubu Kastorsky

I already told you that in the third film about "Elusive Avengers" it was originally planned to "resurrect" Bubu Kastorsky. But it turns out that initially it was not necessary to resurrect it - in the scenario of "The New Adventures of the Elusive" no one Kastorsky did not kill.

The idea with the heroic death of the couplet belonged to Boris Sichkin, the actor who embodied on the screen the image of Buba. The fact is that Edmond Keosayan was one of those directors who appreciated the actor's improvisation and always listened to interesting proposals from the actors who were shooting him.

And so, already during the filming of the second film about the fearless Four Avengers, Sichkin suggested the director to kill his hero - this would add serious light to the adventure movie. Keosayan first objected, but then decided to shoot the scene of the heroic death of the playwright and show the version of the film with such an ending on the preview. "If you do not mind," he told Sichkin, "then you do not need to kill, but it will be a pity - you are right, you should kill"

Everything turned out exactly as Sichkin predicted. On the preview, the leadership of the Komsomol Committee appealed to Keosayan not to kill Bubu. At the same time they had tears in their eyes. The director immediately turned to Sichkin with the words "You're killed!"
