Looking through the list of films that will receive support from the Cinema Foundation in 2018, I saw in it the project of the "Directorate of Cinema" entitled "The Moment of Truth". I really love this novel by Vladimir Bogomolov and the film "In August of the forty-fourth" by Mikhail Ptashuk I think a pretty good film based on the book
Yes, not perfect! But it has a right to exist. I'm aware that Bogomolov asked to remove his name from the credits for the film, considering that most of the key episodes were dropped in disrepute. This is his right, his vision. Maybe this is true, but this book, in my very difficult to translate on the screen.
