We continue to remember the old Soviet films. 1956 is next in line. It was this year that the country recognized a new young comedy-director, whose comedies would later firmly take their place in the Golden Fund of Soviet Cinema - Eldar Ryazanov. In total this year 44 feature films appeared on the screens of the country. Let us recall the most notable of them.
The leader of the hire for the year was just the debut comedy of Eldar Ryazanov's "Carnival Night"

For a novice director - success is phenomenal. Well, the film is firmly included in the list of the main New Year's paintings.
The second place from domestic films in detective "Case number 306"

A dynamic plot that flows from a crime drama into a spy detective has very much attracted the audience
Third place in the melodrama "Different destinies"

A film about yesterday's schoolchildren entering adulthood. And the magnificent romance Roshchina
These were the leaders of the rental. But this year there were a few more films left in the memory of the audience.
First of all, it is, of course, the brilliant "Spring on Zarechnaya street"

Two wonderful movie tales - "Ilya of Murom"

and "Old Man Hottabych"

Atypical view of the Civil War in the forty-first film

And one more glance at yesterday's schoolchildren in the melodrama "In the good hour!"

You can still recall the first film version of Ostrovsky "Pavel Korchagin", for a long time quarreling Lanovoy and Yumatova

And shrill military dramas "The Immortal Garrison" by the defenders of the Brest Fortress

and "Soldiers" on the defense of Stalingrad

But probably enough. Ahead of 1957
