The most popular film resource in the world, if I'm not mistaken, is the site IMDb, whose name stands for Internet Movie Database. In our country, its counterpart, many call the site Kinopoisk. Their functions are very similar and both of these sites constantly update the list of the best films according to the results of the audience voting (users of the site)
Both sites use their own cunning formula for calculating the rating of films (to understand which I did not have any desire). But to compare the final lists was quite interesting.
The main thing that unites these lists is that for many years they have been headed by the same film - Frank Darabont's “The Escape from the Shawshank ”
