The best Soviet movie. The second round

The second round of the competition for the best film-tale shot in the USSR. The contest is attended by 160 wonderful films that we saw in the cinemas as a child on vacation and waited for them to appear in the program "Visiting a Tale" on TV

I'll remind you of the conditions. As I said, 160 films are participating in the contest. Since most of these tales you most likely did not revise since childhood, all candidates for participation are provided with a movie clip, which you could, if you want, reconsider, or maybe you'll see something for the first time. Therefore, in each round will participate only 10 films - otherwise the post turns out to be too heavy. But after the selection rounds, the films with the maximum number of votes will participate in the final voting

In the first round, while leading "Vasilisa the Beautiful" and "Kashchei the Immortal"

I represent the participants of the second round:

Cinderella. A film-fairy tale, staged in 1947 by the directors Nadezhda Kosheverova and Mikhail Shapiro. The script for the film was written by the playwright Eugene Schwartz based on the fairy tale of the same name by Charles Perrault

The adventures of Nasreddin. The second film about the adventure of Khoja Nasreddin was shot by the oriental tales of Khoja Nasreddin. Based on the film later was written Solovyov's novel "The Enchanted Prince"

May night, or Drowned woman. KinoSkazka Alexander Row based on the story of the same name by N. V. Gogol

Sadko. A film-fairy tale by Alexander Ptushko, based on Russian Onega folklore about the Novgorod merchant Sadko

Andries. A film-fairy tale by Sergei Paradzhanov based on the same fairy tale by Emilian Bukov about the young shepherd Andriesha, who dreamed of becoming a knight, about the magic pipe that the hero Vainovan gave him, and the fight with the evil sorcerer Black Whirlwind

Ilya Muromets. Alexander Ptushko's feature film based on Russian folk epics about the hero Ilya Muromets

Old man Khottabych. A feature film staged in 1956 by director Gennady Kazansky based on the fairy tale novel by Lazar Lagin of the same name

Star boy. A film based on the works of Oscar Wilde: on the tales of "Star-boy", "Birthday of the Infanta", etc.

New adventures of the Cat in boots. A film-fairy tale, staged in 1958 by director Alexander Rowe. The script is based on Sergei Mikhalkov's play "Laughter and Tears"

Sampo. A film-tale by Alexander Ptushko based on the Karelian-Finnish epos "Kalevala". Joint production of the USSR and Finland

Let's move on to the vote. I draw your attention to the fact that you can vote in several fairy tales
