You know, sometimes it's very funny to see how in the recent past people imagined a near future. I recently revised the film "June 31", part of the action which takes place at the beginning of the XXI century, that is, in fact, in our days.
The authors of the film have very cleverly wriggled out, showing life 30-40 years later. They at the very beginning of the film announced that "now in retro fashion and everyone wears the same thing they wore in the 70s of the XX century." A wonderful move for a budget-poor TV movie. By this it is possible even with a stretch to explain why the main character rides on such a car - retro intervened even in the automotive industry
But as far as the instruments are concerned, it was not possible to get out. The videophone registered in the script had to "invent". See how they solved this problem
As you can see, there is nothing superfluous in the device - a television set hanging on the wall (apparently the screen of which is an electron-beam tube) with a telephone integrated into it with a dial pad (where to go - retro).
