Yury Nikulin



Yuri Nikulin was drafted into the army on November 18, 1939. During the Soviet-Finnish war, as part of the anti-aircraft battery, he guarded the approaches to Leningrad.



During the Great Patriotic War he also fought near Leningrad.

Anatoly Papanov



Anatoly Papanov was drafted into the army in 1940. The news of the beginning of the war caught him in Orenburg. Short preparation - and to the front. Vladimir Gulyaev



Vladimir Gulyaev during the Great Patriotic War went to work as a mechanic in an aircraft workshop, and on April 20, 1942 became a cadet of the Molotov Military Aviation School of Pilots. With honors, after graduating and having received in November 1943 the rank of junior lieutenant of the Air Force, the pilot-stormtrooper Vladimir Gulyaev went to the front.



I made 60 sorties on an IL-2. He fought in Byelorussia, the Baltic States. Has had been ill with a malaria, some times has been wounded and contused.

Nikolay Trofimov



Nikolai Trofimov served in the navy during the Great Patriotic War. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War II degree, the Order of the Red Star, the medal For the Defense of Leningrad, For the victory over Germany


Leonid Gaidai



Leonid Gaidai graduated from the school on June 21, 1941, and on June 23, 1941 went to volunteer for the army, but he was not taken because of his age. He was called up in the fall of 1941 and initially served in Mongolia, then was sent to the Kalinin Front, to reconnaissance. On December 14, 1942, in fights for the village of Enkino, pelted with grenades the enemy's firing point and destroyed three Germans, took part in the capture of prisoners, for which he was awarded the medal "For Military Merit".
